How do I install the ExperiHaus device on my TV?
Steps for setting up the EH device.
On Site Installation Steps: It takes approximately 15 minutes per TV and device.
- Take note of the Serial Number of the Device. Either take a photo of the serial number on the side of the box or write it down, noting the property and room where the device will be installed.
- Plug ForcePro Device into HDMI port (ARC if available) in the back of the TV and power cord directly into an outlet.
- Access the settings on the TV to always open to the EH Experience. See additional steps below. This is unique to each device. Refer to article.
- Select input if it doesn’t automatically switch to the HDMI input where you plugged in the device.
- Place batteries in the remote (RCU)
- Follow on-screen instructions to pair remote.
- Press and hold the back arrow and home button until the light on the remote is blinking. The screen will show “success” with a green check mark when the remote is paired.
- Select English
- Skip: Set up your TV with Android Phone
- Select WIFI Network & enter Password
- Skip: Make the most of your TV
- Accept: Terms of Service
- Accept: Google Services
- Choose a Name: ForcePro
- Continue: Install Additional Apps
- Click Through:
- ForcePro is powered by androidtv
- Get Apps from Google Play
- Talk to the Google Assistant
- Cast to your TV
- Off: Low power sleep mode
- Test Remote Pairing
- Verify TV Brand
- Test red power button (this will power the TV off and then you press it again to turn it back on)
- Test input
- Test volume
- Scan QR Code
- Enter host portal login credentials
- Select the Property from the drop-down where you are installing (these have to be added to the portal ahead of installation)
- Select Device from Drop-down or Add New Device if there is not one listed. Only one TV can be connected to each device.
- TV Experience appears on screen
- Check that WIFI network name and password is appearing on screen correctly.
- Click through all other sections in the TV Experience to test
- Streamers - Be sure to log in to any streamers that you provide to your guests.
- Upon completion of setup, wind up cables, attach device with velcro to the back of the TV.
